Get Ready for Smart Metering with DLMS over LoRaWAN

In the world, annually there are +200 million of new smart electricity meters. One of the leading international standard for smart metering data exchange is DLMS approved by standard bodies and country associations. Through the collaboration efforts between the LoRa Alliance and DLMS user association, a DLMS profile for LoRaWAN was specified over IPv6 using the SCHC technology to overcome the constraints of LPWAN. This panel will zoom in on Brazil where the first deployment and solutions are getting ready in the Americas. The panel will provide also an update on the certification of end devices and what new use cases can be enabled. Moderated by Remi Demerle, Semtech.
