Global Standard 1 (GS1) identifiers are unique codes used to identify products, locations, entities, assets, or documents, with a primary focus on the supply chain industry. Potential use cases include asset tracking and asset management, for LoRaWAN-backhauled RFID readers or for LoRaWAN+RFID tags. This document aims to harmonize the implementation of LoRaWAN frames that carry GS1 identifiers, those encoded in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags as Electronic Product Codes (EPC).
