In his presentation, Gabriel Garcia, Head of IoT at Integra, describes how LoRaWAN is used to apply monitoring and preservation technology to cultural artifacts, from buildings like the Roman Colosseum to paintings by Van Gogh. Using digital twins and artificial intelligence can both highlight maintenance problems, but also preserve very real facsimiles of cultural artifacts that are thousands or tens of thousands of years old.
